An Earlier Work

Pictured above is St. Agnes church in Cleveland, designed by John T. Comes, the architect of Toledo’s Rosary Cathedral. Artist Felix Lieftuchter, who painted the mural above the altar at Rosary Cathedral, also painted the apse in St. Agnes. The church was dedicated in 1916, then torn down (except for the tower) in 1975.
