Dear Alex and Jeffrey, I am so excited to see the posting from the Nativity Church in Chicago. It is one of the churches listed by my great grandfather, Josef Vittur, as having been painted by him. The 3 paintings that are visible in the picture are identical to some he did at other churches. I have seen his painting of the nativity in fact in 2 churches already in Ohio. His listing says "Church of Nativity, Rev. Cartan. Decorations of Sanctuary and Pictorial Paintings." Are there any other photos of the artwork at that church? I know of 11 churches of his in Chicago but haven't been to any of them. Thanks again for sharing all of this lovely art,
